COVID-19 – Service User Visit

All staff at P4A, in direct contact with the people we support, will no longer wear PPE from the 31st of March 2023. This will be the final stage of our endemic planning and only in the event of a confirmed outbreak of Covid-19 would staff wear PPE. The approach to an outbreak will be assessed to minimise the impact on all those involved, whilst ensuring best practice is being followed.

Anyone who has been identified as high risk due to pre-existing health conditions may still choose for their support staff to wear a mask, and we would ask that you communicate this preference so that we may plan our resources accordingly. Support staff may choose to continue wearing masks and we shall support them in doing so, unless we feel the wearing of a mask impacts negatively on the support session or communication needs.
